lean and loafe is a poetry journal that prioritises humanist writing and ecopoetics. Inspired by modernist and mid-century poetry, we seek work synthesising consciousness with spatial poetics.
We pay £20 to every published poet*

Our reading periods are:
1st July - 1st September 2022
1st March - 1st May 2023
Each submission costs £3.
You may submit 1-3 poems per fee. Prose and poetry feedback are also available. We will offer a free submission period during each reading window. It will be announced on Twitter. For all other submissions, please pay here.
