Guidelines

Please send your work in a PDF document to ensure your poetry formatting is maintained.

Font, size, and spacing are at the poet's discretion.

By submitting your work, you are accepting our right to apply minor grammatical edits so long as they don't change the meaning or intention of the work.

Previously published submissions are accepted. Please let us know where your work has appeared before so that we can credit it accordingly. Simultaneous submissions/pitches are encouraged. Please let us know if a piece or manuscript is no longer available for consideration.

We reserve the right to remove, withdraw, or discontinue any work in the future in case a writer is found to be expressing or holding bigoted or discriminatory views or has acted in such a manner. We encourage free speech, but everyone has limits. Don't be a dick.

Please include an author bio alongside your submission. An author photo is optional.

Add your name to the file name.

In the subject line of your email, please include POETRY SUBMISSION.

You should receive confirmation of your submission within seven days.

A final response (yes; no; yes subject to editing) will be sent out by the 27th of August.

If you are accepted, we offer feedback and general notes.

You may commission prose and poetry edits and feedback here.

Payment will be sent by PayPal to published poets within a week of publication.

IMPORTANT: ISSUE 3 Guidelines

For issue three, we are WAIVING ALL SUBMISSION FEES. Instead, we encourage poets to donate the equivalent (£3/$3) to a humanitarian aid charity helping civilians in Gaza and Sudan.

We will also be donating writer's fees unless otherwise requested.

Thank you. Happy writing.
